Answer

BLURB

A blurb is a short piece of writing that praises and promotes something, especially a book. The word was coined by American humorist Gelett Burgess in 1907 when he created a fake book cover featuring a woman he called Miss Belinda Blurb. The term has since become standard in publishing and marketing industries.

Strategy Tip

Today's word has a repeated letter, which can be tricky. If your guesses are coming up short, consider that some Wordle answers use the same letter more than once. Do not be afraid to try words with double letters!
